Santorini Island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece. Its iconic traditional Greek architecture and unique natural scenery have made into one of the best places to visit, not only in Greece but the whole Mediterranean.

Red Beach is some twenty-minute drive south of the island’s capital, close to a small, picturesque village of Akrotiri.

What sets it apart from other beaches is the red sand (the beach itself is mostly pebbles) and red volcanic rocks overlooking the small bay in the southernmost part of the island.
