Like many of the most beautiful beaches in Greece, Navagio is secluded and reachable only by boat. The beach itself is a true wonder of nature – it’s located in the shadow of a white sandstone cliff jutting out into the azure sea.

Navagio translates as ‘Shipwreck’ and got its name because it was used as a smugglers cove in the past.

The beach is extremely popular with tourists, so be prepared for crowds if you’re visiting during the high season.
