Forgetfulness is a common thing especially in old age, we forget little things in our daily life. When we go out we check stove, fans, taps and many things like that to confirm that we are leaving our home safely. Forgetfulness can be harmful sometimes and can put us in big trouble.
This is the story of a housekeeper who proved that there is humanity still alive.
An elderly couple from Ypsilanti Michigan decided to move closer to their family in Kentucky. All bags were packed, the moving vans were ready, all the arrangements were made properly. They’d stay at hotels for their road trip. They had lots of cash $11,000 to pay the bills. They did everything as planned.
When they reached their new home, wife realized that her handbag was missing. All the cash, credit cards IDs was in that bag. She starts panicking and they had no clue what to do now.
Fortunately, a housekeeper named Brigid Murray works at Ann Arbor Regent Hotel found her purse in the bottom drawer of their hotel room dresser.
She could’ve taken that bag very easily but she didn’t. She was honest and trustworthy. She proved that there are good people who do selfless things, she tried hard to find them and returned their money.
