Five places that are devoid of gravity

Gravity is nature’s way of keeping solid stable and is capable of acting on anything on planet earth. It is the force of attraction between the earth’s surface and other items. However, these five locations have been able to defy gravity.

Magnetic Hill

Located in New Glanville, Canada, and is regarded as Canada’s most popular natural tourist attraction. When climbing this hills, cars are dragged up by unseen forces and seems as if a force is pulling them up against gravity and defying frictional force as well. To see this for yourself, all you need do is park a car on the road to the hill and watch as it is pulled up.

Spook Hill

Spook Hills is located in Lake Wailes, Florida. It is a mysterious hill which is totally devoid of gravity. Visitors to Spook Hill are required to park their cars on a distinct white line and watch it roll back. This phenomenon is scientifically explained to be due to the accumulation of magnetic forces from the limestone deposits all around Spook Hill.

Barahona’s Magnetic Pole

Located in the southern part of Dominican Republic. In this mysterious location, the theory that things will naturally roll down a hill does not hold. Instead, a car placed in Neutral gear rolls upward without any action by the driver. The area is totally devoid of gravity.

Mystery Spot

Located in Santa Cruz, California in the United States of America; gravity is believed to be totally turned off in this location which is about 45m in diameter. This claim is evidenced by the upward flow of water which occurs there and the ability of visitors to almost hang in the air. The Mystery Spot was discovered in 1939 by George Previdon, a topographer.

Rainbow Waterfall

This is a waterfall that flows against gravity. Rainbow waterfall is the only waterfall located in the Chilean region of Maule. The Rainbow Waterfall is popularly referred to as the rainbow waterfall among the locals. This is primarily because, instead of flowing downwards, the water flows upwards into the sky.
