6. The double tree of Casorzo
This unusual sight is located in Piedmont, Italy. It consists of a cherry tree growing on a mulberry tree. It’s not unusual to see parasitic trees growing on host trees, but the parasitic trees are normally small and have short lifespans. The exact opposite is the case for the double tree of Casorzo. The Cherry (parasitic) tree has grown into a big tree and it has existed for years. This sight is one of the major tourist attractions in Piedmont.
