5. Memento
This one is directed by Christopher Nolan (who also did the Batman trilogy, Prestige and many other breath takers, like Interstellar) and it’s no surprise that it is absolutely fantastic. Guy Pearce plays the role of an amnesic man and his story is presented through 2 types of sequences: a black and white series running chronologically and a coloured series that is reversed (no wonder this movie got Nolan famous), both which combine in order to create the whole narrative. While the movie requires a lot of focus from its viewers, it is engaging to say the least. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m definitely re-watching this.
